Speaker recommendation...

Post by Lowcountrypsulion »

Hey everybody. I'm looking for a single 3" (preferably), 3 1/2", or 4" component mid I could use for a center channel application in my Civic. I would also prefer it not have a tweeter; it would strictly be a mid.

Does anyone have any (economical) suggestions?

I'm considering replicating the center channel scenario from the system design provided in the M25 manual, except that I would be using the band-pass capability of the AX204A in conjunction with a dedicated amp.

Thanks!

You could go with a CDT Audio CL-4, you can buy them as a comp set or just the mids. Check the other 4" mids they have. I have run the CL-42 comp set in my car and they sound great without breaking the bank. ")
