Not a hard choice....More power and better efficiency, plus the designer of the MS was in on the RSd development.
they do suffer somewhat in the looks dept. tho....
RSd+1,
screw car audio, I'd rather go fast....errr, wait a minute.

MS1000 T/A, all the way, IMHO. How could you not want to display that ridiculously awesome board?!?!

MS1000TA. Sooo Sexy.
A pair of 500.4 's take up the same space..
And how are they more efficient ? Both are class A/B's

RSD for you, MS for my collection.

I don't think the RSD is any more efficient and the MS has so much more reserves on tap. The RSD has about 20 opamps in the signal path.

For all out sound quality and if you have a crossover/processor and have the space, and have the juice, and have a good alarm system, MS1000TA.

For a daily and the RSD on a set of RSD components, the 500.4...

If you like, I'll give you my roadster 66 which just happens to have a 500.4 on board and an RSD 1200.1 to trade for the MS1000TA so you won't have this dilemma... Hehehe

You could also trade my TI 500.4 600.2 & 600ti for the ms1000 and have more choices with the on board crossovers, just saying....

I totally understand what you're saying. However, I was in college when the M series came out, and I couldn't even begin to afford an M25, much less an MS1000 T/A. I got by with $50, "800 watt" Pyramid amps and incredibly cheap Pyle subs. So for me, a painfully nostalgic person, the T/A is the absolute pinnacle of old-school, car audio awesomeness. :)

i would like to hide my amps in the spare tire and i cant do that with the 1000. i love the amp and i told my i would not get rid of it. i have a rsd1200.1 for sub duty and figured i could sell the ms1k and buy a pair of rsd500.4 and still have cash left over.

Tiitaniums have fans...

Sorry, I couldn't help it...

There was in install a while ago with one RSD 500.4 and 2 1200.1s in a mustang or thunderbird... The amps all together was a big install.

by "going in the civic" do you mean you are putting the raw products in the car to transport them or installing them so they play? :)

ahhh yes, the Tbird system is no more.... Not really driving it and it's just sitting on the street. Mikey wanted some things so I sold.
I'm gonna list the bass cube/w remote, and both EQ215ix's when I get some time, the other 1200.1 is spoken for. I have a nice light weight install taking shape for my Stang'.
